Priya’s journey as an artist has been an inspiring one. Starting at a young age, she nurtured her interest in art and pursued it seriously at the age of 18. Her training at P.Mohan Kumar in Mangalore and Drishya School of Arts, Udupi, helped her hone her skills and develop her own art style.

Her passion for art led her to share her knowledge, experience, and expertise with others. Being a profound artist in her hometown, she started teaching art to children and ladies, and over the years, she has gained a wealth of experience in this field. Her participation in group exhibitions in India has helped her showcase her work and connect with more people, including other artists.

Moving to Singapore gave Priya the opportunity to start her own art studio by the name “Akrrithi Art Studio,” where she focuses on teaching basic to advanced art to children and ladies. They are easy to learn with an elegant touch, even for a newcomer in this field. Her emphasis on India Folk Arts and also Modern Art forms (besides many other art forms & styles) reflects her appreciation for traditional as well as contemporary styles. Priya believes that every child is an artist and encourages her students to explore their creativity and do what they love the most.

Apart from her work at the art studio, Priya also takes time out to give back to the community. Her visits to the old age home in Singapore, where she teaches simple art pieces, demonstrate her commitment to social causes. Priya also conducts art workshops and events for social causes, further establishing herself as a socially responsible artist.

By continuously learning and experimenting, Priya enhances her skills in the art world and brings the best to her students.
